However action is taken quickly if the person reporting the problem has a friendship and reports it directly with the mods or administrators, which is great for them but not good enough for the rest of us.

What the artists need is a report system that enables the artist who's work is being posted to be redirected to a DMCA form where they can enter the necessary information instead of having to do it via email to violations@deviantart.com, the way the report system is now is totally useless as no action is ever taken when using it and the DMCA via email can take days or even weeks, also and most importantly, when a report is made and the DMCA form has been submitted, via the report system, stating that their work has been used without permission then that deviation should be immediately suspended and removed from view until staff have had a chance to review the content.

I know that DA is a very big site and that reports can take a long time to get looked at but a simple automated DMCA form could make a huge difference to help protect the artist rights.

If your site incorporated this system then it would also be a big deterrent for these people who keep coming back and making new accounts just so they can do it all over again, which in turn would reduce the amount of reports you would receive, I love your site but recent events have totally soured it for me and I am not the only one being effected, it has made the site unbearable for many of your regular members who are sick of seeing the stolen art, continued vulgarities and profile spam from these people.

All any of us want is for these people to stop, I have got involved with several of these deviations and said many things that make me look bad but I feel totally helpless to take any other action because your report system is such a pain to use and takes so long to accomplish anything, then the very next day after having them removed I have to go through it all over again.

Please fix DA and make your report system work in a manner that will help protect the rights of the artists and take the power away from the people who wish to abuse it.

Hey bud, thanks for posting HUD apocalypse. But I think these VC clowns are planning something. It is a fact that these VC clowns had some help from one of the DA moderators and that's why all those themes were removed so fast. I am not sure but most probably it's Razorsedge who has the DA moderator position or it is one of their friends. Let's see what these clowns are up to because one of my comments was hidden by DA staff, mostly by Razosedge. So these VC clowns are still getting help, and all those themes must have been removed long back, but I think they have kept them for a reason. They are up to something.

I think these VC scumbags are trying to convince DA to change their policies. It is highly impossible, but unfortunately if that happens, then we won't be able to post here and use DA anymore.

I think it'll be better to remove all these themes and stop all this for some days. We'll see what happens. We can then post them again, but don't flood DA with them. Just post a single theme and give all the links in the description. I'll leave this to you, but I think we should be careful.

If DA changes its policies and gives control to these people then we won't be able to do anything.
